Iluka: Signs Of Improved China Zircon Demand, But Mood Fragile

Chinese demand for zircon, a mineral used in ceramics, is starting to show signs of picking up, although sentiment remains shaky and the market is far from having staged a recovery, the managing director of Australian mineral sands producer Iluka Resources Ltd. (ILU.AU) said Wednesday.

Regency Ceramics puts loss due to violence at Rs 150 cr

The damage caused by the recent violence at tiles-maker Regency Ceramics facility at Yanam, near Puducherry, has been pegged at Rs 150 crore by initial estimates and the management is yet to take a decision on reviving the beleaguered company, Regency Ceramics Chairman and Managing Director, Mr G N Naidu said.
